We collect only the information necessary to print your custom posters, process secure payments, and ship orders safely to your doorstep. We never sell, lease, or trade your personal details, and all uploads are managed with secure retention policies.

01. Information We Collect

To process your transactions and customize your wall art, we collect information you provide directly to us:

  • Account Details: Full name, email address, contact numbers, shipping addresses, and account credentials when you register.
  • Custom Art Uploads: High-resolution files, images, illustrations, or textual configurations uploaded to the Custom Poster Builder.
  • Order History & Transaction Info: Records of products viewed, purchases made, and shipping specifications (excluding raw credit card or banking details).
  • Technical Data: Device IP address, browser type, operating system, and navigation paths collected via session cookies to persist shopping cart states.

02. How Your Information is Utilized

Your personal data is used solely to maintain, optimize, and fulfill our core design and manufacturing services:

  • Processing secure transactions and calculating appropriate shipping charges.
  • Fulfilling customized orders by syncing layout configurations with our high-end print studio.
  • Providing package tracking numbers and real-time shipping notifications via email or SMS.
  • Addressing customer queries, complaints, and handling return policies under our standard guidelines.
  • Protecting our services, customers, and payment integrity from fraudulent activity.

03. Secure Data Sharing & Partners

We restrict access to your information to necessary third-party partners who adhere to equivalent security frameworks:

  • Shopify: Serves as our headless database and backend e-commerce portal to store customer profile parameters and order logs.
  • Razorpay: Handles encrypted payment transactions. No payment card numbers or NetBanking credentials ever reach or reside on Posterstreet servers.
  • Logistics & Fulfilment: Courier partners (such as Shiprocket, Delhivery, etc.) receive only your address and contact details to deliver physical merchandise.

04. Content & Upload Security

We value the privacy of your custom designs, photographs, and illustrations:

Files uploaded to the Custom Poster Builder are transferred using secure SSL protocols. These images are stored temporary in isolated cloud buckets for printing. Upon successful delivery of your physical order, uploaded files are systematically flagged for deletion and permanently removed from our active media servers within 30 days. We do not claim ownership of, nor do we republish, any custom artwork uploaded by our customers.

05. Your Rights & Access

You hold complete control over your personal data under the Information Technology Act:

  • You may request access to, edit, or delete any personal shipping information or account details.
  • You can request the complete closure of your Posterstreet profile by contacting support.
  • You can opt-out of promotional newsletters or marketing notifications at any time.

06. Legal Disclosures

We may disclose personal information only if required by applicable Indian laws, subpoenas, or judicial orders to safeguard critical rights, property, or customer security.

Governing Law

Governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to Chennai jurisdiction.
